Using our in-house developed High Pressure Fibre Impregnation Technology or HPFIT®, we produce high quality thermoplastic UD tapes with glass, or other fibres. The essence of UDMAX® Tape performance is, optimal fibre spreading, while keeping a resin-rich surface layer at high fiber contents. Our products have an excellent fit with applications requiring strength and stiffness and manufacturing processes geared towards mass production.

Working with UDMAX® Tapes, pays off in reducing part and maintenance cost, provides the answer to reclycability needs and opens up the possibility to previously impossible injection solutions. IN-HOUSE CUSTOMIZED Tape Slitting

UDMAX®’s high end slitting equipment can slit UDMAX® Tapes precisely and in custom widths – starting at 5 mm wide to larger sizes, as the customer requires. Additionally, using a high speed winding equipment, tapes can be winded under a controlled tension on the core in a parallel or cross wound manner. Depending on material specifications, UDMAX® Tape rolls can be delivered up to 4,000 running meters of length.

IN-HOUSE CUSTOMIZED Crossply Lay-Up

UDMAX® Tapes in a semi consolidated 0°/90° Crossply lay-up, in roll form. The first commercially available product is UDMAX GPP® 45-70 CROSS PLY, a product suitable for continuous lamination processes used in a variety of composite solutions (such as skin layer of sandwich panels)
